Review of the new Doctor Who
You may or may not know that the BBC is broadcasting a new series of the venerable sci-fi classic “Doctor Who”.
I’ve watched the first nine episodes and am completely hooked.
There’s a ginormous number of reviews of the new Star Wars movie: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, so here’s a mini one: it’s awesome and is easily the best of the “”new”" SW movies.
The Empire Strikes Back is still my favorite of the series, but this one rocks.
The special effects eye candy easily makes up for the short comings of the film and Ewan McGregor’s performance is great. Natalie Portman’s performance is also great, though she doesn’t get very much screen time (go rent Garden State!)
There are a few minor plot holes, some stiff acting, and some bad dialogue, but over-all it nicely wraps everything up and leads in well to the first Star Wars movie.
Oh, and thankfully Jar-Jar never speaks :o)
